Q My horse requires spinal clearance, will this pad work for him? How thick is the heavy felt cente... answer nowA The pad is contoured so it will not sit on the withers and will conform to the horse's back. The heavy felt center is approximately 3/4 to 1 inch thick - it can vary. The inserts are sewn into the pad and provides extra padding and lift of the saddle for the comfort of your horse.
